2nd Annual Meeting LymphChip

November 1, 2023

On October 30-31 the second Annual Meeting of LymphChp was hosted by VUMC in Amsterdam.

In total 39 members of LymphChip attended the program representing the academic partners, co-financing partners and the Advisory Board.

The first day consisted of news updates on behalf of all the work packages. Most attendees joined for dinner that evening. On the second day invited lectures were given by representatives from industry and the Advisory Board followed by break-out sessions on topics selected on the spot and relating to technological and biological challenges. The newly designed chip, the design of which was drafted at one of the breakout sessions in the previous Annual Meeting attracted a lot of interest.

Representatives from the co-financing partners and the Advisory Board indicated that the meeting was very insightful and stimulated the young researchers to exploit the LymphChip network.

Application Note Fluigent
January 27, 2026

Flow conditions and a stable well-defined flow direction are important to culture in vivo-like endothelial cells over time that maintain their organization and function. With help of Dhanesh Khasi, Hanna Lammertse and Valeria Orlova, an application note was put together by Fluigent describing the proper conditions for hiPSCs-derived vascular organ-on-chip model under unidirectional controlled flow: https://www.fluigent.com/resources-support/expertise/application-notes/hipscs-derived-vascular-organ-on-chip
