The participants learned how to set up recirculation systems using pressure-based flow control by FlowEZ and were introduced to Fluigent’s newest system, the Omi automated organ-on-chip platform. In addition, they visualized various cell types cultured within the Omi system, including HUVECs and iPS-derived cells. The day finished with networking drinks and the opportunity to ask the experts more questions.

Thank you to our co-organizers and trainers during the day: Anel Rakhmatullina and Jad El Khoury (Fluigent), Dhanesh Kasi (LUMC) and to our funders & networks: the Novo Nordisk Foundation Center for Stem Cell Medicine (reNEW), hDMT INFRA and LymphChip.

Looking back on a great workshop focused on microfluidics co-organized by the LUMC hiPSC & OoC Centre & Fluigent on the 9th of April!
