Annual Meeting LymphChip

20 oktober 2022

On October 20-21 the Annual Meeting of LymphChip was hosted by VUMC in Amsterdam. In total 36 members of LymphChip participated representing the academic partners, co-financing partners and the Advisory Board. All the work packages presented their results and future plans.

In addition, 2 breakout sessions to discuss technical requirements and biological platforms/disease were held. The topics for these breakout sessions were determined on the spot and generated a lot of inspiring and constructive discussions. At the end of the first day the participants enjoyed dinner together in Amsterdam. The last two sessions were used to collect feedback from the co-financing partners and NWO. All agreed that the project is ambitious, is progressing well and that the participants collaborate well.

Application Note Fluigent
27 januari 2026

Flow conditions and a stable well-defined flow direction are important to culture in vivo-like endothelial cells over time that maintain their organization and function. With help of Dhanesh Khasi, Hanna Lammertse and Valeria Orlova, an application note was put together by Fluigent describing the proper conditions for hiPSCs-derived vascular organ-on-chip model under unidirectional controlled flow: https://www.fluigent.com/resources-support/expertise/application-notes/hipscs-derived-vascular-organ-on-chip
