Peerlogic is a tool to facilitate animal-free cell culturing.

To this end protocols and Materials & Methods sections for xeno-free & FCS-free cell culturing are being shared as well as animal-free alternatives to basement membrane extracts (BME) such as Matrigel. With this tool we want to stimulate collaboration and through peer review we want to help researchers find an develop animal-free cell culturing protocols more effectively and efficiently.

A live demo of this tool was presented as part of the new approach models information initiatives (NAMii) webinar series organized by ZonMw and RIVM.

The tool is not yet live, but:

  • Please help us by sending us any open access protocols and methods for upload
  • Send us your email address if you want to remain updated

You can contact us via: info@peerlogic.org

The recording of this webinar and other knowledge bases, search engines, infrastructures, and other tools for NAMs can be found at:
