{"id":3299,"date":"2025-12-03T08:50:33","date_gmt":"2025-12-03T08:50:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.lymphchip.org\/?p=3299"},"modified":"2025-12-11T08:53:09","modified_gmt":"2025-12-11T08:53:09","slug":"advancing-vascular-research-successful-hipsc-workshop-at-lumc","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.lymphchip.org\/en\/news\/advancing-vascular-research-successful-hipsc-workshop-at-lumc\/","title":{"rendered":"Vascular on Chip course with support from AIMBiotech"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Advancing Vascular Research: Successful hiPSC Workshop at LUMC<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On December 1st and 2nd, Valeria Orlova\u2019s team, along with the Leiden hiPSC Center and the Leiden OoC facility, successfully held their first workshop on hiPSC-based vascular in vitro modeling at LUMC. \u00a0The course consisted of a combination of expert lectures and hands-on time in our training laboratories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the hands-on sessions the 10 participants from The Netherlands, Denmark, Switzerland and the United States learned how to purify hiPSC-derived endothelial cells and seeded hiPSC-derived endothelial and vascular smooth muscle cells onto microfluidic chips. The course was very well received.
